Wondering where Hair Oil and Rosemary Tonic fit into your routine? The simplest way to remember them is by timing: Lia Organics Hair Oil goes on before a wash, while Rosemary Tonic is a water-based spray you can leave in.
You do not need to fit every product into every part of your day. Give each step a place, follow the directions, and choose a schedule you can repeat.
Use Lia Organics Hair Oil on your scalp before shampooing, one to three times a week. Section your hair so you can apply it to the scalp, then massage gently. Leave it on for one to three hours before washing thoroughly. Shampoo twice if needed to remove remaining oil, then follow with conditioner.
Think ahead about the rinse. If you will not have time to wash your hair within that window, choose another day for this step. Our directions describe a pre-wash application, so there is no need to turn it into an overnight ritual.
For the amount to apply, follow your current bottle instructions. Bottle directions should stay within reach as you build a new habit.
Rosemary Tonic can fit into a daily scalp-care routine. Shake the bottle, part your hair into sections, spray onto the scalp and gently massage with your fingertips. Leave it in; rinsing is not required.
On a wash day, it can be your leave-in step after the wash. Between wash days, it gives you a scalp-care step without repeating the oil-and-shampoo routine. Follow the directions on your bottle when deciding how to use it.
A simple example is to choose one regular wash day for Hair Oil, and keep Rosemary Tonic beside the products you already use for daily grooming. That is an example of organizing the steps, rather than a requirement to follow a particular weekday.
If your normal wash schedule supports more oiling, stay within the recommended one to three uses per week. You do not need to add extra wash days just to make your routine look more elaborate.
Use a short note on your phone if you keep forgetting which product stays in: oil before washing; tonic can stay in. Keep each product in its original, labeled bottle so the directions and ingredients remain easy to check.
If you add another product, read its instructions separately. A leave-in direction on one bottle does not apply automatically to another formula, even when both contain rosemary.
Can I use both products in the same routine?
Yes. The Hair Oil is the pre-wash step and Rosemary Tonic is the leave-in step. They have different roles.
Do I need to rinse the tonic?
No. It is a water-based leave-in scalp spray.
Should I leave Hair Oil on overnight?
Our directions specify one to three hours before shampooing. Follow that timing rather than assuming longer is better.
Where can I check the full directions?

Lia Organics makes hair and skin-care formulas without synthetic fragrance. We choose this approach as part of the brand we want to build, and we want you to understand exactly what it tells you when you shop.
Some of our formulas contain aromatic botanicals, including essential oils. Those ingredients can give a product a scent. A product made without synthetic fragrance can therefore still smell of the ingredients inside it.
The ingredient list is the useful next stop. For example, our Rosemary Tonic lists rosemary hydrosol, fresh rosemary and rosemary essential oil alongside its other ingredients. That is more specific information than a broad description of the scent.
Read the complete list for the product you are considering. Do not assume that every product from the same brand has the same formula, or that the scent of a product tells you everything that is in it.
If you are comparing two products, put their ingredient lists side by side. Look for the particular ingredients you want to understand, then ask a specific question: Does this contain an essential oil? Which botanical ingredient gives this formula its scent? Is this the current list for the bottle I am buying?
A botanical source does not guarantee that an ingredient will suit every person. The FDA notes that some plant-derived ingredients can irritate skin or cause allergic reactions. Our choice to avoid synthetic fragrance is not a claim that every synthetic ingredient is unsafe, or that every natural ingredient is suitable for everyone.
If you know you react to a particular ingredient, check for it in the complete formula. If you have a diagnosed allergy or are unsure what you need to avoid, ask your clinician for guidance rather than choosing on a label phrase alone.
Start with the product’s role in your routine. Then read its directions and complete ingredient list. Check the actual bottle when it arrives, and keep the label available for future reference.
If a detail is missing or unclear, send us the product name and your question at contact@liaorganics.com. You should be able to ask about what you are putting on your hair or skin without needing to decode marketing language.
Our aim is to make that conversation easier. Clear information helps you make a choice that fits your own preferences and needs.
